New Bath Hotel & Spa

The New Bath sits on New Bath Road on the edge of Matlock Bath, set back in its own grounds above the Derwent gorge, a short walk from the Heights of Abraham cable car station. It's built around an indoor pool and spa, and the hotel keeps its 18th-century spa-town roots in its name even though the building itself has been extended and modernised over the years. Free on-site parking is worth knowing about in a village where roadside parking gets tight in summer.
